Last Saturday I had a fantastic creative time in Poprad (Slovakia). I organized and led a mixed media workshop and we created an art journal page on the travel theme, and an art journal cover in  rusty look...

Nová a opäť vskutku veľmi zaujímavá výzva na ArtGrupa ATC na tému "Koláž" tentokrát pochádza od Iwonky. 
Tentokrát si vystačíme s nožnicami, rôznymi kúskami a zbytkami papiera, lepidlom, popr. markermi...

Die neue und wiederum wirklich sehr interessante Herausforderung auf ArtGrupa ATC zum Thema "Die Collage" stammt diesmal von Iwona.
Diesmal reichen uns die Schere, verschiedene kleine Papierstücke und Reste, ein Kleber, eventuell auch verchiedene Marker...

*Christmas Cards 2017 - Christmas Carol Song*

My already 11th Christmas Card (this time in circle design) for this challenge I created in natural brown, blue and white.

 I used again the wonderful UHK Gallery paper collection "Winter in Avonlea" and decorated my card by the help of sisal, lace, gauze, SnipArt chipboards, paper leaves, drinking straw, twine, wire, adhesive stones,... 

At the end I added some splashes with white gesso...

This time I would like to share with you my latest mixed media ATC set in rusty look, made for ScrapArt.cz with a quick photo tutorial...

 

  

 First layer - Finnabair 3D Matte Gel, SnipArt chipboards and chippie leftovers, Finnabair Art Stones and Heavy Gesso Black...

 

Many layers of different colours (by the help of a sponge) - used acrylic colours in brown, orange, and yellow ochre shades, a little bit of turquoise (Marabu CreaColor and Ranger Dylusions Paint)...

 

Decorated with wire, metallic embellishments, adhesive stones, Tim Holtz Paper Dolls

and the title...

*ATC set - Beauty in the Dark*

Welcome again!

This time I would like to share with you my latest mixed media ATC set called
"Beauty in the Dark" - corresponding to the wonderful new collection of SnipArt. The background was created by the help of  black gesso, SnipArt chibboards - wall and honey comb, texture pastes, glass glitters, sprays in violet, purple and turquoise shades. I also used gauze, wire, stones, metallic embellishments and in the centre are really fabulous skulls...

*Art Journal Challenge Nr. 10 - Dance*

Welcome to my blog!

 

The October art journal challenge on ArtGrupa ATC is very emotive and interesting also, comes from Iwona and the theme is called Dance.
By the help of dance and musik you can express different emotions. I tried to display the character of a white swan but with the wings of a black one...
