Today I would like to show you my third mixed media art journal page made for a wonderful project called Art journal on the way 2017. This entry I created for Olga.

I applied white gesso to make my page waterproof.  After drying I colored  crossways this double-page with LSG sprays in blue shades. Then I stamped on this area with various stamps. I layered pieces of paper of different sizes and on top I put a cute picture of a sleeping little boy on a suitcase. This background  I decorated with several embellishments. At the end, I used brown ink to edge my page, added a few drops of coffee, white gesso and some sentiments...

I applied white gesso to make my page waterproof. For the texture I used one of my favourite SnipArt stencils. After drying I colored randomly some places with LSG sprays in blue shades. Then I stamped on this area with various stamps. I put a cute, vintage picture of a lady and a little girl. This background  I decorated with several embellishments. At the end, I used brown ink to edge my page, added a few drops of coffee, white gesso and some sentiments...

Then I stamped on this area with various stamps. I layered pieces of paper of different sizes and on top I put a cute, vintage picture of a little boy. This background  I decorated with several embellishments. At the end, I added a few drops of white gesso, LSG sprays and sentiments...

*Art journal on the way 2017*

 I feel very honored to be a member of a group of 13 talented, creative ladies from Poland, Slovakia and Czech Republic who will exchange art journals and create entries among each other troughout the year 2017.

In a few days this exciting project starts, and at the end of the year, I will get a wonderful, unpayable book, full of hidden emotions, thoughts, colours, smells and "travel-dust".

 The decoration of my art journal cover is made on canvas and I choose the theme "Catch the time". For the entries nobody is obliged to stick to this topic, but simply can give free rein to thoughts...
