*Vintage album with fabric cover - Create magic...*

Welcome to my blog!

This time I would like to share with you my vintage album covered into cotton fabric,

made for ScrapArt.cz.

For the cover I chose two pieces of corrugated cardboard, felt and fabric with a vintage pattern. On the front side I applied randomly and gently white gesso. I decorated it by the help of sisal, tulle, stamps, chipboard, paper and metallic embellishments, feathers, button, stones, ribbons... For the pages of my album I used kraft paper and decoreted these with some pockets, stamps and lace...

*Art Journal Challenge Nr. 7 - Colorful life*

Welcome again!

 

The July art journal challenge on ArtGrupa ATC is very chromatic and bright, comes from Aleksandra and the theme is called Colorful life.

 

I created my background by the help of some pieces of an old book, white and black gesso, silver acrylic effect paste, turquoise acrylic colour, LSG spray in pink shade and gauze. Then I stamped on this area with textual stamps. This background  I decorated with several paper items...

Welcome again!

 

This time I would like to share with you my latest project - exploding box. I chose the box with four layers and decorated it in vintage style. I used patterned paper and paper items mainly in brown shades and uncolored SnipArt chipboards. For some contrast I added some black embellishments, violet flowers and mini beads...

Welcome again!

 

The April art journal challenge on ArtGrupa ATC is very aromatic, comes from Monika - Kolorowy Ptak and the theme is called Coffee.

 

I created my background by the help of  white and black gesso, coffee and LSG spray in blue shade. Then I stamped on this area with various stamps and played with permanent markers in black and white. This background  I decorated with several paper items...

 This time I would like to invite you to the August art journal theme called
KRAFT PAPER.
Kraft paper is a really great item also for mixed media works mainly because of its wonderful natural look and high grammage. You can choose kraft paper for the background, or you can use a recycled paper bag for your pages. But you can create some paper embellishments from kraft paper and include these in your projects…
You can simply give free rein to your thoughts and I am looking forward to your wonderful and various interpretations.
