We have something in common. We love to create. It is our hobby, relaxation, colour therapy, passion…

By this, I would like to invite you to the February art journal theme on ArtGrupa ATC called „PASSION“, on which I have the pleasure to guide you...

Passion is a very strong feeling about a person or thing. This is an intense emotion, a compelling enthusiasm or desire for something.

I chose red, black and gold colours for my page, because I think that red shades perfectly fit to this intense feeling and its deepness. Passion may be a friendly or eager interest… love, hate, anger… for all that I used black.

You can simply give free rein to your thoughts and I am looking forward to your wonderful and various interpretations.

Today I would like to show you my latest ATC sets, these I made for some private swaps...
 

Three Lords in Paris...

ATCs in steampunk style, for the background using the inner side of an envelope, applying several stamps with red and black ink, making the Eiffel tower by the help of hot embossing...

Prioritaire

ATCs in mail art style, making abstract mixed media collage, using postage and background stamps, postmarks and several little pictures...
 

Fête Impériale

For the background of this ATC set using distress paints and several stamps, decorating with a nice picture of a horse, wire and mini beads...
 

  

 

Parisian Dreams

Shaker ATCs in vintage style, for the background using a page of an old book, sewing a foil on the thop of the paper and between the foil and the vintage paper inserting glitters and mini beads...

During my last overseas ATC swap I was asked to participate in an interesting event. All participants got the same products to work with and needed to create ATCs on the theme "LOVE".

It is very interesting to see the creative outcomes of the involved ladies using the same materials...

 

And here is my interpretation...

Today I would like to show you my first mixed media art journal page made for a wonderful project called Art journal on the way 2017. This entry I created for Anai.
 

I applied white gesso to make my page waterproof. After drying I colored randomly some places with LSG sprays in violet and purple shades. For the texture I used one of my favourite TCW stencils. Then I stamped on this area with various stamps. I layered pieces of paper of different sizes and on top I put a cute, vintage picture of a little boy. This background  I decorated with several embellishments. At the end, I added a few drops of white gesso, LSG sprays and sentiments...

*Couples - Bonnie & Clyde*

Aktuálna výzva na ArtGrupa ATC na tému Páry tentokrát pochádza od Janky. Táto téma je mimoriadne zaujímavá, ako obvykle skvelá, ponúka nekonečné spektrum alternatív a preto som ju  prijala s nadšením.

Rozhodla som sa pre stvárnenie kontroverzného, gangsterského páru Bonnie a Clyde...

 

Die aktuelle Herausforderung auf ArtGrupa ATC zum Thema Die Paare stammt diesmal von Janka. Dieses Thema ist äußerst interessant, wie gewöhnlich fabelhaft, bietet ein endloses Spektrum an Möglichkeiten und ich habe es deswegen mit Begeisterung angenommen.

Ich habe mich entschieden das kontroverse Gangsterduo Bonnie und Clyde abzubilden...
