ATC set "Rusty ways"

Hello again!
 

This time I would like to share with you my mixed media ATC set called "Rusty ways" in vintage and rusty look.

I created some texture and more layers by the help of a palette knife, gesso, texture pastes and acrylic paints but not on the full area. I kept a some place white and here I applied several background stamps.

I used SnipArt cog wheel chipboards and created rust. By the help of a sponge I painted these with black gesso, acrylic paints (in brown, orange and yellow shades) and effect pastes.

Gift box "Forever dreams"

Hello!

This time I would like to show you a Birthday gift box for a lady, made for ScrapArt.cz. 
 I chose a simple kraft box and decorated it in vintage style. I used patterned paper and paper items mainly in brown or beige shades, several paper embellishments, enamel dots, sisal, feathers and various, uncolored SnipArt chipboards.

Rusty Canvas "Curiosity Factory"

This time I would like to share with you my mixed media canvas in rusty look, called

"Curiosity Factory".
I chose a canvas board and created some texture and rust by the help of chippie leftovers, black gesso, texture pastes, effect pastes and acrylic paints (in brown, orange and yellow shades). I used really fantastic SnipArt chipboards from my favourite collection Industrial Factory and layered several paper embellishments and various metallic components...

MM Dreamcatcher "Smile for you"

Today I have for you a photo tutorial for a mixed media dreamcatcher "Smile for you".
A dreamcatcher is always a beautiful decoration or lovely present, but especially it has magical power and protects our dreams. You just have to believe...

I created the dreamcatcher a little bit different to what we are used to. I chose my favourite colours - violet and petrol.

In a first step I applied black gesso on chipboards...

After drying I painted these with Finnabair Metallique Acrylic Paint (Plum Preserves) and Finnabair Opal Magic Wax (Blue Velvet), grass pieces I coloured by the help of LSG Starburst sprays (Tibetan Poppy Teal and Prima Donna Purple)...

Then I started layering of various embellishments and applied randomly little bit of Marabu Gold Acrylic Effect Paste...
